Princess Tangled Party

Today we had a Princess Tea Party! We started out by picking out which tea cup and saucer each person should get. Kendall got the green one with flowers, Isabell the Pink Heart shaped plate and glass. Aubrey's was pick with flowers on the inside of the tea cup, and Mine was white with flowers. The girls love to get out the "real" tea cups with their matching saucer plate. We set the table including a table cloth and a vase with flowers! Then we had to wait.

Aubrey showed up right at 10:30 and the girls promptly ran to get dressed up as soon as they knew she was here. They had to wait a little bit longer as Aubrey is also my visiting teacher and we had to do visiting teaching first.

Finally it was time to party!

First we had lunch. Tiny sandwiches (peanut butter and honey, and turkey) and apples, with lemonade poured from 2 teapots which the girls were in charge of pouring. (If you were thirsty you had better ask Kendall to pour it for you as Isabella liked to give you just enough for a swallow before you had to ask for more :) ). I got a picture of the girls at the table before I put the food out.
(and before they dressed up)

Then Aubrey pulled out her surprises. She had brought princess bags that we got to color. The girls sure loved this. (Aubrey and I also got dressed up and got in on the fun. She brought bags for us too!)

Then we needed something to put in our bags, so we all made bracelets. We were getting low on letter beads, but we were able to find an "A" for Aurora (Aubrey), a "B" for Belle (Isabella), a "C" for Cinderella (Kendall) and a "S" for Snow White (me)

After getting our bags colored and our bracelets made we headed for the basement for the Tangled Premier (Aubrey had never seen it.) The girls love this movie and were constantly telling Aubrey this is our favorite part or watch her hair is going to glow under water!

Then it was back up stairs for dessert. Carmel and Ice Cream.

Then a little bit of play time. You can't have a party without some free play time. The girls loved Aubrey's dress and the fact that it was poofy enough for them to hide underneath it.

where did they go?

Caden gladly joined us for lunch, but being such a routine oriented person he ate and promptly asked to go to bed. He woke up in time for Ice Cream, and play time.
Such a happy baby, you can't help but love.
