Snow Day 2013

We finally got a good snow storm with enough snow to make it fun for the kids.  This is the first snow in almost 2 years that it has really come down like this.  Carter and I spent 2+ hours shoveling just the 2 driveways.  Zach came  out and dug out the 1 lane into the road as the plow had deposited about a 3 foot drift between our drive way and where he plowed.  Today we will actually be able to get out for a bit.

 

Aunt Spring sent us this snow brick maker along with a

snowball maker for Christmas a few years back.  We've gotten them out a few times. But this time the snow was perfect for them.

We had one other snow day but this one wins for most fun.  They called the night before the storm hit and canceled school for the next day.   They also called then on Thursday and canceled school for the next day (Friday) Too.  Yeah for snow days!!!
