a month or so before her birthday Kendall picked out a Southern Belle dress, with a hat for her birthday present/Halloween costume. She also asked grandma for the Rapunzel dress and hair which you saw earlier in her birthday pictures. The problem with these 2 outfits, they aren't farm animals and for school they were having a farm party (not a Halloween party) Butterflies are found on farms right? So we got her a pair of wings and an antenna to wear to school and painted her face. Well she liked the face paint so much that she decided to go out that night as a butterfly too. She loves to dress up so the other 2 costumes have also had plenty of wear already and I'm sure more to come.
Carter wasn't interested in dressing up but didn't want to miss out on the Candy so he wore his Karate uniform and went at the Karate Kid. It must have worked because 1/2 way through his bucket was over flowing and we had to stop by the house and empty it before moving on to the 2nd half of the neighborhood. Dylan was a ninja. It was all he's wanted to be for 2 years now, although that's ok with me. He too got loads of Candy and dumped his out at the 1/2 way point so he could continue on.
Kendall had been dying to Trick or Treat with Isabella so Zach took her over and went with the Grossmans's while I followed Dylan and Carter around here with their friends. They all ended up with more than enough candy to last til Christmas and beyond, (except that mom keeps sending it to work with dad. I don't have enough self control not to eat it all day and I"m ready for it to be gone :)
